We’re closing out our Summer Songwriter Series with Nashville Night at The Bunker! This final instalment features three incredible singer-songwriters—Nick Nace, Steph Maloney, and Samantha Ava—each of whom has spent time performing in Nashville, the heart of the songwriting world. Together, they’ll bring the energy and authenticity of Music City to Stratford for one special evening.
Nick Nace
Canadian-born Nick Nace has spent nearly two decades honing his roots-infused sound. First making waves as one half of the acclaimed folk duo A Brief View of the Hudson, Nick has toured extensively through Europe, the U.S., and Canada, performing in some of Nashville’s most respected listening rooms along the way. His solo work—including his acclaimed albums Wrestling with the Mystery and The Harder Stuff—continues to showcase his heartfelt storytelling and timeless songwriting.
Steph Maloney
Hailing from Milverton, ON, Steph Maloney brings a refreshing energy to the stage. Known for her ability to connect with an audience through honest, story-driven songs, Steph has twice performed at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Café—an experience that reflects her artistry and presence as a songwriter.
Samantha Ava
With a sound rooted in country and laced with rock and blues influences, Samantha Ava delivers songs with a rich, sultry vocal tone and a style that is uniquely her own. Based in the Niagara and Hamilton regions, Samantha’s music is shaped by her time performing in Nashville, blending heartfelt lyrics with a powerful stage presence.
This Pay What You Can event (suggested donation of $15) is the perfect way to wrap up summer and enjoy a Nashville-style listening room experience right here in Stratford. Doors open at 6:00 PM—come early, grab a drink, and settle in for a night of incredible live music.
