Guest Speaker: Bob Spiller presents “The War on Foxes”
Australia’s battle with the fox has been going on since the mid-1800s, and it’s far from over.
Join us for an engaging talk that explores our long-running war against this cunning invader, with a special focus on the Yass and Gunning region. You might even spot a few familiar faces or names in the story!
Local resident and Boongaroon contributor Bob Spiller shares a mix of natural history, local insight, and the fox’s history, not as a trained historian or naturalist, but as someone who lives on the land, has researched the topic extensively, and is passionate about the fox’s impact on our region.
