Hailing from the small town of St. Albans, WV, Emily picked up a guitar after a short-lived piano phase (we get it, keys aren’t for everyone). She chased her passion to Nashville’s Belmont University, and the rest is singer-songwriter history. Think Jewel meets Sara Bareilles with a touch of Sheryl Crow vibes and a splash of Ingrid Michaelson feels. 💫
Emily’s style blends pop and folk into heartfelt, catchy tunes that’ll have you swaying, toe-tapping, and maybe even tearing up a little (blame the beer or the lyrics—we won’t judge). She’s been busy releasing singles and hosting her own songwriter series Voice & the Pen down in Wilmington, NC, but lucky for us, she’s coming right here to Southside Junction Tap House!
