Our walk from Monterey Street westward is a journey through seven decades of Gilroy’s development. This cool shady trip will include three National Register buildings, the Christian Church, our Carnegie library, Wheeler Hospital and several architectural styles. It remains one of Gilroy’s most attractive and interesting streets. Meet at the Gilroy Museum, 195 Fifth Street at 10 AM for the free two-hour walking tour.
