π§ Mental Health First Aid β Community Training Opportunity
A 2-day Mental Health First Aid course is being run at The Meeting Place, facilitated by Queensland Health.
Itβs open to any adult who wants to feel more confident supporting someone going through a mental health challenge β whether you're a community leader, professional, or just someone who wants to better understand how to help.
π Thursday 11th & Thursday 18th September
π 9:00am β 3:30pm each day (includes a lunch break)
π The Meeting Place, 25 Leo Graham Way, Oxenford
π° Only $30 total (This kind of course usually costs $300+)
This nationally recognised and accredited training covers how to recognise the signs of common mental health issues β like anxiety, depression, psychosis, and substance use β and how to respond with confidence until professional help is available.
