The Community Prevention Coalition of Teton County (CPCTC) invites the public to participate in the second annual community walk for suicide prevention (CUSP) and awareness on September 20th from 10:00 to 12:00 pm. The walk will take place around the Teton County School District’s William T. McIntosh Stadium, the Athletic Field and Track, located at 1235 Gregory Lane. Walk in remembrance of a loved one lost to suicide or for a loved one's suicide attempt. No dogs are allowed on the Stadium’s track or fields unless it’s a service animal. Registration is not necessary for this free community event.

There will be free food, arts and crafts, informational booths, local mental health resources, and guidance on how to support friends and family members who may be struggling. Let's take the first steps together towards a brighter and healthier future. For more information about the event please visit, www.tetoncountywy.gov/cuspwalk.

September is National Sucide Prevention Awareness Month. This community walk is an opportunity to demonstrate our collective commitment to suicide prevention and awareness. Through unity, we can raise awareness of available resources, diminish the stigma associated with mental health challenges, and foster an environment that promotes open dialogue about mental well-being.
