Basia is a singer-songwriter living in Montreal, Canada. She offers both a distinctive voice and artistry that pulls as much from R&B and soul as it does from classic folk. In addition to her skills as a powerhouse vocalist, Bulat is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, recording and performing on electric guitar, piano, autoharp, ukulele, bass and charango.
Joining Bulat is our 2025 Emerging Artist Jeanne Truax, who will steal your heart when she steps on stage. Inspired by the contemporary sounds of The Beatles and Wanda Jackson, Jeanne’s rockabilly and roots flavoured performances will leave you coming back for more. She has spent the last year crafting her high-energy “rock n roll” live show, but she has a few other tricks up her sleeve.
