Salem Marion Berries Faith and Family Night

While I still hold the need to get transparency from Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, out of fairness and fighting this battle with as much peace and kindness, I started looking into other options in Salem. Thats when a dear friend Eddie Zapien reminded me of the Marion Berries Baseball Club!!
I started looking into the organization and to my surprise, they are doing a Faith and Family night on August 10th.
So I called Luis at the Marion Berries and had a wonderful conversation. He made it clear that this is truly an all-inclusive event. There won’t be prayers or a seventh inning stretch of worship. This truly is an event for people of all faiths to come with their family and enjoy a night of baseball in safety and acceptance.
So people of #salemoregon, let’s support an organization that believes in diversity and inclusion, acts showing the support of diversity and inclusion, and refuses to allow political, religious or natural differences get in the way of enjoying the greatest sport out there. The Marion Berries mission is to bring high level baseball to Salem to provide a safe and accepting place to enjoy the sport.
Im going and would like to form a big enough group of friends and family so we can represent Salem and the need for friendships and community regardless of religious belief, political views, and all the other topics that continue to divide us. Who is with me??
