Welcome to Port Veritas! We meet every Tuesday night in person at the Equality Community Center at 15 Casco St in Portland AND online. We typically end by 9:30 pm EST, but we have the space until 10 pm EST.

In person friends, please remain masked in the building. If you are reading, you may take off your mask only while reading.

The ECC has an accessible ramp at the North entrance, and three low steps with railings at the front entrance on Casco Street.

Allison Whittenberg is a Philadelphia native and the author of several books for young adults, including Maine Under Water (2024), Tutored (2010), Hollywood and Maine (2009), Life Is Fine (2007), and Sweet Thang (2006). Her poetry has been published widely in Redivider, New Orleans Review, Columbia Review, Feminist Studies, and in her collection, They Were Horrible Cooks (2024).
