We honor our great Marian Anderson and her musical relationship with historic composer Nathaniel Dett in this stellar Tribute Concert event featuring the dramatic and dynamic compositions of composers Nathaniel Dett and his The Ordering of Moses and Robert Ray's Gospel Mass. These exceptional works will feature our outstanding National Marian Anderson Scholar Artists, our Marian Anderson Historical Society Instrumental Ensemble, The Elizabeth City State University Choir as the featured Concert Choral Ensemble under the direction of Elizabeth City State University Choral Director Dr. Walter R. Swan all under the Direction of Maestro and Marian Anderson Historical Society Musical Director and Pianist Dr. Jay Fluellen.
