An Author Talk with CATHERINE LEE

Eastport author Catherine Lee will read from her new book
A Place to Land: More Stories from the Coast of Maine followed by a Q&A. Books will be available for sale & signing.

Catherine J.S. Lee lives, writes, teaches, and gardens near the
Canadian border on the Maine island that inspired her fictional Way Down East. She has been writing since childhood, and her first love has always been the short story. Her stories and poems have appeared in print and online journals and are collected in anthologies.

Also a haiku poet and shahai (photo-haiga) artist, Lee is the author of the award-winning collection All That Remains: A Haiku Collection Inspired by a Maine Childhood. Her haiku have been published world-wide and translated into several languages. She edited A Splash of Water, the Haiku Society of America’s 2015 members’ anthology.
