Lazers in the Jungle, or LITJ, as the kids call them, coalesced from the varied reaches of Deer Isle, Orland, Ellsworth and Hancock Maine.
LITJ weaves threads of intricate percussive polyrhythms with flavors of zydeco and latin funk, 80’s-style synth, British funk-rock guitar and background vocals, and a sultry three-piece horn section. Featuring the sizzling lead vocals from Central Maine Idol runner-up Jya Marie.
