Paddle to Worship

Sunday, August 31st, is boat Sunday at Lanier Christian Church’s Lakeside location. We will paddle from Sardis Park, leaving at 0900 to the marina. Service starts at 10:00. It usually takes me 30 minutes to paddle this 1.6 miles. Leaving by 0900 gives us a little extra time.
Another option would be to put in at the Marina boat ramp.
This will be a very memorable worship service.
I usual hug the shore line to stay out of boat traffic. We will cross the main channel underneath the Hwy 53 bridge. Safety flags on kayak are helpful.
