Bring the kiddos for the First Saturday Free Family Craft at the Bartlett Depot Museum. Drop in between 9 a.m. and noon. On August 2 it’s all about sunflowers. Children will learn about this flower and make a sunflower hanging. Supplies are limited.
Have you seen the progress on the new hardscape and landscape surrounding the Bartlett Depot Museum? It includes prairie, pollinator flowers and more set in a winding path accented with outcropping stones.
The museum, located at 100 W. Railroad Avenue in the village’s 1873 depot, spotlights the village’s rail history. It is open Tuesday and Thursday from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first and third Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission and parking are always free.
