Prepare to learn about the skies above! Join Professor Bernie Reim for an indoor, interactive presentation of many different astronomical phenomena, followed by an outdoor star-gazing session (weather-permitting).
Bernie Reim has taught astronomy labs at University of Southern Maine in Gorham and Portland for over 30 years. He helps run an astronomy club, the Astronomical Society of Northern New England, which meets at the New School in Kennebunk the first Friday each month. He writes a monthly astronomy column and co-hosts a radio show on WMPG 90.9 FM called Scientifically Speaking.
