2025 Pollinator Census at Goldenrod Meadows
Goldenrod Meadows is thrilled to participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census for the second year! We are opening up our farm for you to count pollinators at this free family-friendly event. Show up any time between 9am-1pm on either day to count. The count only takes 15 minutes, but you are welcome to take a walk around our trails, view wildlife, visit the nursery, and have your native plant and pollinator questions answered. All of our native plants in our nursery will be available to purchase so that you can invite the pollinators to your home!
We will provide counting sheets for you to perform your count and we will submit your results for you. Information about the Great Southeast Pollinator Census is available at https://gsepc.org/.
This is an outdoor event, please plan accordingly. We recommend bringing water, wearing a hat, closed-toed shoes, and applying sunscreen before coming. Shaded areas will be available, but most of our wildflowers are in full sun.
We expect our visitors to be respectful of our farm and nature. We are 100% smoke and vape free. We are a working farm with animals and an active wildlife presence, please leave pets at home. Please drive carefully in our driveway and watch for tortoises.
