Foote's Crossing Loop

Howdy folks! After a couple weeks off for family obligations, we're back with one of my favorite little loops.
We'll meet at Edwards crossing at 5:15 and head out Grizzly hill road to cruzon grade. We'll climb a bit, peel off down to the river at Footes crossing (if you haven't done this before, it's a little chunky but well worth it. You'll ride hand stacked rock mining roads built in the early 1900s: https://noehill.com/nevada_county_california/nat1981000180.asp)
After that out-and-back, we'll continue up cruzon until it meets with backbone road and descend backbone/north bloomfield back down to the river.
This ride is only 19 miles, but has over 3000 ft of elevation. Bring water, big gears, and a can-do attitude!
