Frail Body burst into the underground with their absolutely stunning debut EP, ‘A Brief Memoriam’ (Deathwish), in 2019. After and 5-year wait, the band returned in 2024 with their acclaimed debut full-length, ‘Artificial Boutique’, and their UK debut, including a blistering Bristol headline and later, a weekend-topping appearance at ArcTanGent. They also toured across the world in North America, Australia, Japan and Europe with an array of likeminded artists incl. Hailing from Illinois, USA, the band take screamo back to its cathartic roots, mixing hardcore, post-hardcore and blackened metal flourishes to sublime effect.
Joining them are USA gothic noise rockers, Crippling Alcoholism. They release their all new album, 'Camgirl’, in September via Portrayal of Guilt. Formed in 2022, they blended punishing dissonance with pop transcendence, whereas the new album trades the Americana-tinted dirges for the neon sweat of dance music, party pop and synthetic ecstasy.
