Alan Snow, associate concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra, is coming to Austin on 8/24/25 at 4:00 pm at Christ Church (Episcopal Church) to perform to conclude Arts Festival.
Alan is a rising star in the music World. His ascension to associate concertmaster demonstrates this.
Alan is from Chicago. His father was a professional cellist, and his mother was of Mexican descent. Alan has recorded two chamber music albums, one as a member of the Chicago Panamerican Ensemble called, “Voices of Mexico’s Past and Present” and one with pianist, Joanne Chang called, “Dialogos.” Both albums explore the rich landscape of classical music in Mexico.
Alan will provide a glimpse into this music during his visit to Austin.
