Book Launch - Child of Light by Jesi Bender

Join us for the launch of Child of Light, the haunting and lyrical new novel from local author Jesi Bender. Set in rural upstate New York in 1896, the story follows 13-year-old Ambrétte Memenon as she reconnects with her estranged parents through their obsessions—Spiritualism and electricity. As she explores the boundaries between life, death, and unseen forces, Ambrétte is pulled into a mysterious world pulsing with energy and spirit. A luminous tale of grief, discovery, and the invisible threads that bind us.

Jessi will be sharing her thoughts and give a short reading of the book, and will take time to sign some copies. Friday evening, August 15th at 6pm here in the shop.
