🔥 Event #2: “Sunday Firefights – Lone Wolves & Flags”

📍 Location: SNL Paintball
📅 Date: Sunday, August 17
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Sunday Firefights is all about mixing it up — we’re throwing in some solo-style game modes, objective-based battles, and a few fast-paced team matches to round it out. Whether you prefer lone wolf tactics or team cohesion, there’s something in here for you.

---

⚔️ ARMY OF ONE

Every player is on their own — no teams, no alliances.

Free-for-All Format

One Life Per Round – Get hit, you're out.

Last Player Standing Wins

Perfect for smaller groups or warm-ups. Expect short rounds and high tension.

---

🎯 SQUAD ELIMINATION

Players are split into small teams of 3–5. These micro-teams must coordinate and eliminate the others without being wiped out themselves.

3 Respawns per Player (walk-back)

Squads are balanced based on gear/experience

Last squad with players still active wins

Encourages communication and movement as a unit. Great for players looking to improve small-team tactics.

---

🧭 CAPTURE & CONTROL

Multiple objective zones will be placed around the field. Teams must hold these zones to gain points.

3 Objective Zones (e.g., Alpha, Bravo, Charlie)

Timed Control: Each zone is worth 1 point per minute held.

Flag or cone markers used to signal control.

Winning Team: Most points at round end.

More strategic. Perfect for larger groups and encouraging movement.

---

🔁 QUICK TDM ROUNDS

We’ll squeeze in fast, 5–10 minute rounds of classic TDM to keep the blood pumping.

Unlimited respawns within time limit.

Run from “dead zone” to re-enter.

Fast rotation, low stress, high action.

---

📝 We’ll go over rules and safety protocols at the 11:00 briefing.
🎯 All players must chrono under 1.35-1.49J (400fps with .20g) — semi-auto only unless otherwise stated.

⛑️ We will rotate squads and medics as needed. No pressure — this is a great day for walk-ons and mixed-skill teams.

📣 Let us know if you're in or if you'd like to be placed with friends. We’ll organize the groups in advance if possible!

Bring water, snacks, and a positive attitude. We’re here for a great time! Drop a comment if you’re coming or bringing a friend 👇

🔋 Bring pre-charged batteries and mags to minimize downtime reloading etc.
🚰 Stay hydrated, Its hot and sunny, lots of water!— it’s a short but active session!

Vic may have the canteen running to purchase cold beverages, water, Powerade, soda, etc.

We’ll keep things fun, friendly, and fair. This is a great intro event for new players or a great tune-up for vets.

Standard NS Airsoft / CCAC Rules and guidelines.

> Check with NS Burn Ban site before any use of PYRO, smokes, taggins, bangs, etc.

> Riflemen, including Gas Blowback Rifles (GBBRs) and sidearms, are limited to 1.5 Joules with no Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).

> Designated Marksman Rifles (DMRs) are capped at 1.9 Joules with a 50-foot Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).

> Bolt action rifles are limited to 2.3 Joules with a 100-foot Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).

> DMRs and bolt action rifles must be accompanied by a sidearm.

> The maximum Rate of Fire (ROF) for fully automatic guns is set at 30 rounds per second (RPS). Guns exceeding this limit will be restricted to semi-automatic fire.

> Only plastic Airsoft BBs are permitted for use; bio BBs are optional unless specified otherwise by event organizers.

> Each gun must undergo chronographing before the start of every game day, measuring in Joules with the specific BB weight intended for use that day. Any attempt to tamper with the chronographing process will be considered cheating and may result in expulsion from the event.

> Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include:

> Z87+ rated eye protection or higher is mandatory for all participants.

> Full seal protection is not compulsory unless specified otherwise by event regulations. While mouth and ear protection are recommended for close-quarters combat (CQB) matches, they are not obligatory. Participants are encouraged to use their discretion for their comfort and safety.

> Mesh goggles, glasses, or full-face mesh masks are prohibited as eye protection.

> Mercy and surrender rules are as follows:

> Players within 10 feet may offer a surrender to their opponent by calling freeze or surrender if they believe they have the upper hand or are at close range. The surrendering player has the choice to accept or decline the offer. However, refusing the surrender may result in being shot at close range.

> Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and exercise judgment during gameplay.

> Additional safety guidelines include:

> "No Duff" protocol is implemented for real-world emergencies occurring during gameplay, requiring immediate attention and cessation of gameplay until the situation is resolved.

> "Game on" is announced by administrators once the emergency is resolved, and gameplay resumes accordingly.

> Prohibition of blind firing, defined as shooting without visual confirmation of the target's location.

> Requirement for players to call themselves out when hit and await the designated respawn time.

> Reporting suspected rule violations to game administrators or AINS staff.

> Prohibition of relaying in-game information to teammates to maintain fairness and integrity.

> Above all, participants are reminded to prioritize safety and enjoyment throughout the event.

> In the event of questioning by event hosts, it is imperative to acknowledge their authority. Event hosts reserve the right to take immediate action, including expulsion from the current game, the day's event, or future events. Any misconduct observed will be communicated with other hosts and vendors to maintain the integrity of Airsoft events..

> Furthermore, random chronograph checks may be conducted during event days to ensure compliance with regulations. Participants found to be in violation will undergo verification with provided BB weights to confirm adherence to class-specific limits. Any breach of regulations will result in immediate removal from the event or the day's activities.

> These measures are implemented to uphold safety standards and ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.***

RULE UPDATE FOR SUNDAY GAME!
Because of the fire Ban we'll be enforcing strict smoking rules at the next few games, or until the ban is lifted.
For all of you pesky smokers, you'll have to gather at a designated smoking spot with a big ol' tub of water for butts / ashes.
We thank you for your cooperation, please also not that we are not able to play full field, we'll be restricted to the town area of the map, however we'll still have some fun game modes.
