Throughout this 6-week Level 1 intro class, you'll explore the basic concepts of improvisational theater in a warm, safe, and supportive environment.
Level 1 Improv is designed to build self-confidence and collaborative play techniques using the fundamentals of improvisation. Beneficial for both actors and non-actors, it will expose you to:
π Being β and responding - in the moment.
π Accepting and building on gifts from classmates.
π Embracing β and using - failure.
π Co-creating with others.
π Discovering your creative side.
π Thriving in an unscripted environment.
π₯Έ The class will introduce you to the organic side of spontaneous ensemble comedy and the teamwork that cooperative play requires to thrive.
At the end of the six weeks, you'll have a working understanding of the basic fundamentals of improvisational theater as well as an increased appreciation, and comfort, with being on stage - and in life - without a script!

πEnd Date: Thursday, September 25
(No class on September 4.)
