The Room Screening with Greg Sestero

Our friend Greg Sestero returns to OCTC’s Blandford Lecture Hall for a screening of the 2003 cult classic, THE ROOM. For those unfamiliar with the film, know that it’s considered the “Citizen Kane of Bad Movies.” You’ll see people in tuxedos and wigs holding footballs and perhaps a plastic spoon or two.
The Disaster Artist, Sestero’s book about his friendship with Tommy Wiseau, the lead actor/writer/director of The Room, was turned into an award-winning film in 2017. After our screening, he’ll discuss that book, making The Room, and the films he made after that one changed his life. He also will invite attendees on stage to participate in dramatic readings from The Room’s script. If you think the film’s dialog is strange, wait until you hear it as it was originally written.
Greg will sell and/or sign merch – books, shirts, & more – after the event.
Note: The Room is Rated R for language and adult themes. Viewer discretion is advised.
