Buck Creek Run (CJ Brown to Snyder)

With all of the rain this summer, we are planning a full run of the Buck Creek Corridor! This 5 mile stretch will start at Prarie View Recreation Area, and finish at Snyder Whitewater Park. All participants are required to have a life jacket, helmet, spray skirt, and basic boat control. We have extra kayaks and paddles if needed. Meet at 10:00am for a briefing at the put in and will set shuttle after we get a solid head count.
If there are any new paddlers that are more interested in a flatwater run to the park, then we will have a secondary shuttle set to the Museum of Art for an easier paddle to Snyder.
After the run, we will enjoy surfing at Snyder Park and will have plenty of snacks and cold water for everyone. We hope to see you there! In case of inclement weather or high water, the raincheck date will be Sunday, August 17th.
