DUO VERANDA plays FIR

Vera Hjorth is a vocalist in constant movement. Crackling out of curiosity and presence she
leans out in life while holding her co-musicians and her audience in hand. The lyrics are
abstracts from everyday life, as well as the contemporary as a young person in search for the
roads that lead on. The words are sprinkled with delicious grooves and improvisation.
Swedish pop, funk, soul and jazz in a bubbly mix.
In January 2025 Vera Hjorth debuted with the frisky single “Vill Ba Va”. She made space for
three more singles during spring before she released her debut album “Titta Inte Ner” in the
beginning of June 2025.
Live at Fir she will perform in duo format with the pianist Amanda Svenninghed. They call
themselves “Duo Veranda” and at Fir Vera’s own songs will be mixed with some of the duo’s
favourites. To make it even better they’ve invited a choir of three to complete the
arrangements. The singers are Sofia Palm, Miriam Pettersson and Lovisa Persson.
