Bead Embroidered Fringe Earrings
Where: MoonBell Beadery
Class Fee: Free! To keep our classes fee-free, we do ask that you purchase your supplies at MoonBell Beadery.
We are back in China for our Far East inspiration this week. When we were looking through traditional Chinese earrings, we noticed gorgeous fringe earrings were very common. Also, bead embroidery is a very common technique used in China for adding embellishment, so this week we are doing both! Joy’s design is gorgeous, yet beginner friendly, so come on out and add this technique to your repertoire.
You will need:
- Beading foundation (we have some cut up in squares already if you don’t have any)
- Ultrasuede for backing (again, we will have small squares precut)
- 6mm rounds x 2
- 6° seed beads (we will have small baggies of several colors for you to choose from)
- 11° seed beads
- 3mm crystals 46pc - rondelles or fire polish will work (we have several options available)
- Earwires
