Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Crystal Lake Middle School—where we are Breaking Boundaries, Unlocking Potential, and Pursuing Excellence! We are thrilled to welcome our Cougar scholars and families back for an exciting year of learning, growth, and community.
We invite all our Cougar families to mark your calendars and save the date for our Welcome Home Day on Friday, August 8th.
This is a special time set aside just for you and your child to connect with our school and kick off the year strong:
Sixth Grade Families: 12:30 PM
Seventh & Eighth Grade Families: 2:30 PM
During Welcome Home Day, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Receive free haircuts for Crystal Lake Middle School scholars
Purchase school uniforms from Ella's, who will be on site
Tour the campus and familiarize yourself with our facilities
Obtain your child’s student ID
Sign up for our engaging afterschool programs
Learn more about our exciting athletic opportunities
Meet our absolutely awesome teachers, staff and PTSA and we hope you will join PTSA! Parents + Teachers + Scholars = Successful Scholars
We can’t wait to welcome you home on Friday, August 8th for this meaningful kickoff to the school year!
The first day of school is Monday, August 11th.
FREE breakfast begins at 8:50 AM
School starts promptly at 9:30 AM
