John Pineda: Central Arkansas Smallmouth (and maybe some tips on the Little Red)

Join us for our monthly meeting featuring John Pineda of Reel Good Fishing! John has an infectious passion for fly fishing! Most of us know John as a first class fly tyer who routinely leads AFF clinics as well as Sipping & Tying–but you may have also crossed his path outside of AFF at the Mayfly Project or Trout Unlimited where he is also very active.

However, you may not know that John also guides on the Little Red in Heber Springs as well as for smallmouth bass on the Saline River in central Arkansas. We can’t wait to pick his brain about the Saline. The Saline is right in our backyard and it is a beautiful river with no other flyfishing guides routinely taking folks out and making this gem of a stream accessible. If you spend any time around John, it’s hard not to not get fired up about flyfishing, love of nature and conservation!

John is an extremely accomplished angler who has lessons of value to share whether you are a novice or an expert. You will not want to miss this!
