Planting the Hibaku Tree seeds for Peace

Organised by Cllr Nayab Patel in conjunction with Nottingham CND seeds from a Hiroshima Tree survivor (Hibaku Tree) will be planted on Hiroshima Day itself. Staff at Woodthorpe Park Plant Nursery will nurture the plantings until any saplings raised can be planted out as symbols of peace.

Please join us at the Woodthorpe Grange Nursery in Sherwood, NG5 4HA at 12noon on Weds 6th August. You can park on site - from Woodthorpe Drive or get the 56,57,58,59 to Magnus Road and walk through the park.
