Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at the Milwaukee County Zoo? Sure, everyone gets to see lions lounging and penguins waddling… but what if you could see even more?
Here’s your chance! Animal sponsors get exclusive access to secret spots and insider info most Zoo visitors never see. Join our amazing Zoo Pride volunteers as they guide you through special areas and reveal how our keepers care for your favorite furry, feathered and scaly friends.
Not a sponsor yet? No worries! Sponsor an animal or join the Kids Conservation Club by August 23 and you’re in. You can also sponsor an animal the day of the event to join in the fun.
When?
Saturday, 10 AM – 3 PM
(Sponsor-only tours run all day!)
Even if you're not an animal sponsor, you can still see wild crafts from the Kids Green Art Contest in the Peck Welcome Center .
Grab a scavenger hunt sheet at the U.S. Bank Gathering Place for a chance to win an animal sponsorship + other awesome prizes!
