Sal Taylor Creek Preserve Trail Walk

Join a park naturalist, meet them at the picnic pavilion and take a leisurely walk through an old pine plantation that opens to more natural landscapes.

Park naturalist will discuss the role of wildfires in preserving Florida’s pine habitats and point out birds, wildflowers, and other wildlife seen along the way.

Length of this hike varies by participant interest.

Water, sun protection, binoculars and bug spray are recommended.

Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.

Some terrain may not be suitable for strollers.

Outside programs may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, etc.
