Thoughtful Troubleshooting: how to overcome issues with leading, loading, spraying, clipping and other day to day handling!
Following requests during the last clinics, this training day with Dr Dorothy Heffernan will focus on gentle, non confrontational ways of improving communication between horse (donkey, mule, pony) and handler. Learn how to identify the difference between confusion, fear, physical issues and environmental issues, and how they contribute to behaviours we don't want in different ways. We'll chat about how to develop a plan to address these issues with the aim of making handling easy. In the process, we will set up a toolkit for working on future handling issues (and help prevent them happening in the first place).
