Join us Friday August 8th for a one-of-a-kind evening adventure on the Sunset Point trail! This easy, paved one mile hike will be lit by the glow of the full moon. A limited number of red rights will be available to protect your night vision. Along the way, we’ll use black light to search for scorpions and uncover the secret life of nocturnal creatures. Perfect for families and curious night owls.
Don’t forget your water, sturdy shoes and a sense of wonder.
Sunset Point is the first turn north just past the south shore entrance. These activities are free to the public, however all vehicles are required to have a Park Pass or Keep Colorado Wild pass associated with your vehicle registration. You can purchase a pass at the Visitor Center or any of our self-serve stations.
