Pavilion Build - August 2nd & 3rd

The NES PTO is building a new pavilion on the NES playground that will serve as an outdoor classroom during the school day and will be used by the greater community after school hours.
***VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP WITH THIS PROJECT!***
Please consider volunteering your time to help and make a lasting impact at NES! In order to have the pavilion ready for the kids to use when school starts, help is needed! The goal is to have the pavilion completed by August 11th to allow time for final grading and grass seed to be put down (and hopefully have grass grown in time for school to start at the end of August!).
The school community undoubtedly has many parents, guardians, and family members who have amazing (or even mediocre!) building skills. Please consider this your personal invitation to help with this project and please consider donating your time to help create this new outdoor learning space for the children of NES.

-- Help is specifically needed this Saturday, August 2nd & Sunday, August 3rd. Our General Contractor will be there to give directions and oversee the construction.
-- There are two shifts: 8:00am-12:00pm & 12:00-4:00pm.
-- You DO NOT need to commit to the entire day or every day; just help when you can!
This coming weekend (8/2 & 8/3), the following tasks will need to be completed:
-- Install the roof strapping - Are you agile and not afraid of heights? If so, then please volunteer!
-- Install trim - This pavilion will need little to no maintenance because of the materials that are being used (metal roof, PVC trim, vinyl siding).
-- Start installation of metal roof - If you have experience with this type of roofing, your help is needed!
Refreshments (breakfast & lunch) will be served and child care is available, if needed.
