This is a one day hands on course with horses covering:
· What you vet needs to know when you call
· Conditioning a horse to accept treatment
· Taking proper vital signs
· Dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, casting, shock hoof issues
· Recognizing pain in the horse
· Spinal health
· Injury prevention and much more!
· Certificate of completion and a comprehensive first aid manual provided!
Class begins at 9:00 AM so please arrive at 8:45 and plan until 5:00 PM.
Please bring a chair, notebook, pen and a packed lunch—please have lunch on site. Snacks and water are provided. The class is for ages 15 years and older. The class fee is $169/person.
