Fungi Kingdom

Join us for a hands-on search for the fascinating fungi of Horseshoe Mill! We’ll meet at the trailhead near the blue gate, cross the footbridge over the Weweantic River, and explore the upland pine forest and loop trail in search of mushrooms high and low. Over the past couple of years, we’ve discovered some incredible fungi here. This isn’t an expert-led walk, but we’ll bring field guides and use our phones to identify and learn about mushrooms together!
