The Hawk Against The Dove

The Hawk Against the Dove Public Talk in Athy Library at 6.30PM Thursday 31 July. This powerful exhibition currently on show at Art House Athy, confronts the complex realities of addiction in small-town Ireland. This thought-provoking body of work, by photographer James Mahon in collaboration with Antoinette Foley, gives voice to lived experiences of addiction, recovery, and resilience within local communities. As part of the exhibition programme, a public talk will take place at 6:30PM on Thursday 31 July in Athy Library. The artists will be joined in conversation by curator and Art House Director Anthony Haughey. The discussion will offer insight into the project’s development, its central themes, and the impact of socially engaged art on community awareness and wellbeing.
