This all levels workshop will focus on deepening the connection with your partner in a way that allows for improvisation and play on the dance floor. Whatever your level, you can always find ways to give each dance a unique flavor. This workshop will help you understand how. We are talking about the magic sauce here, everyone -- technique that will benefit and engage all levels of dancers. Don't miss it!

Stephen Smith is a Bachata dancer and instructor with over 13 years of experience teaching Latin dance. In 2024, he wrapped up a 6-month teaching residency with Bachata Sensual Orlando, one of the top Bachata studios in the country, where he led progressive programs and helped level up dancers of all backgrounds. Also in 2024, Stephen hit the road for a cross-country tour, teaching Bachata in 25 cities across 12 states. From coast to coast, he brought his signature style and warm energy to dancers everywhere, building community and
sharing his love for Bachata. Before all that, Stephen spent 7 years living in Maui, where he built his own Latin dance business โgrowing a passionate, tight-knit scene on the island.
Stephenโs training roots run deep. Heโs made multiple trips to Spain โthe birthplace of Bachata Sensualโwhere heโs trained with some of the most iconic names in the style including Daniel & Desiree, Sara & Marco, Luis & Andrea, and Korke & Judith. Now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Stephen keeps spreading the love for Bachata through classes, workshops, and events
wherever the music takes him.
