Join the Florida Chapter of the American Daughters of Conservation for “Kayak Confidence: Skills, Safety, and Outdoor Readiness” on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Silver Lake Recreational Complex in Brooksville, FL!
Led by Jeanene Fisher from Not A Clue Adventures, this workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to build their kayaking confidence. We’ll start with essential skills and safety tips before heading out for a group paddle on beautiful Silver Lake.
We’ll also cover techniques for fishing or hunting from a kayak.
The cost is $25 and includes kayak use. You can bring your own kayak. Only 12 spots are available! Please bring a life jacket, water shoes, and a bagged lunch, along with sunscreen and a change of clothes. Arrive early for check-in as we’ll start promptly at 10 AM.
