Opening Night - 2025 SALA FESTIVAL
This year's SALA artist is @KirstenJohnston!
Kirsten has been painting for twelve years, beginning her journey with Jill Eckermann, a Penola watercolourist, and Ann Carpenter, an artist and, at the time, teacher at Mount Gambier TAFE.
Kirsten has explored a range of styles from realism and semi-abstraction to absolute abstraction, in a range of media including watercolour, charcoal, acrylic and ink.
Live music and refreshments will be available for a gold coin donation, which will go directly to our Not for Profit Gallery to assist with catering.
Kirsten is hosting a workshop on Sunday, August 10th, "Playing with Ink" at the Naracoorte Art Gallery. More info is on our website or available directly from the Gallery.
