This is a 2 day introductory on-site summer holiday club aimed at unaccompanied Key Stage 1 Children (5 – 7 year olds), who love nature and like being outside! The sessions will run from 10am-4pm on the 26th and 27th August.
The days will be spent on-site and hopefully familiar to those who have been to family events and toddler groups in the past. Children will take part in Forest School activities like bug hunting, climbing and balancing, using the rope swing, getting creative in the mud kitchen, nature crafts, den building etc.
We have an on-site composting toilet and tippy tap for hand washing. Children must be toilet trained and confident to use them independently to attend the sessions. We provide drinks and snacks, but children will need to bring a packed lunch. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather including sun hats if we are lucky! Wellies or walking boots plus long sleeves and waterproof clothes are usually needed though! We will send out information emails nearer the time, and once we know the weather expected.
