Join us to learn this cooling, grounding and balancing practice. Yin poses are designed to increase mobility and elasticity in the joints and connective tissues of the body. Excellent for injury recovery, complimenting active exercise modalities, soothing the nervous system and bringing calmness to your daily life. The poses are held anywhere from 3-10 minutes and are mostly done from seated or reclining. Majority of them focusing on the spine and hips in order to ease pain, stiffness and inflammation.
This Yin Yoga training is perfect for any yoga teacher, whether your background is in Vinyasa, Power or otherwise. The knowledge covered is also beneficial for any fitness professional, or students of yoga who have a love of Yin and desire to deepen their practice. Yin can be a complete practice on itβs own, or practiced as a compliment to other forms of exercise including vinyasa yoga. Spend the weekend practicing the poses, enjoying the use of yoga props, learning calming breathing techniques and how to gently stress the connective tissues with an intelligent sequence of poses, in order to care for your physical and mental health.
We're going beyond just the poses, and into the ways yin yoga can help you navigate the stressors of your life. How yin can truly help create more peace and solace for you and your students. An in depth training that looks at the how and why of the poses, and will leave you feeling confident in your understanding of Yin.
