Gerry O’Connor is one of Ireland’s most respected fiddle players, known for his lyrical style rooted in the rich musical traditions of the Oriel region. Hailing from Dundalk, County Louth, Gerry learned from his mother, Rose O’Connor, and was influenced by the great Sligo fiddlers. He has performed and recorded with legendary groups including Lá Lúgh, Skylark, and The Irish Rovers, and has toured worldwide as a soloist. In addition to his musical career, Gerry is a skilled violin maker and restorer, bringing deep craftsmanship to every aspect of his work
