Sunday Fun Ride

The Sunday Social is here, under a slightly different name but with the same idea.
The is a nice steady paced ride for all levels of riders, covering around 15 miles (don't worry, it won't feel like a slog!) and taking around 3-4 hours. There'll be plenty of pauses between sections to make sure everyone is good, no-one is left behind, and you can tackle each bit at your own pace - whether that's having an easy pootle or giving it a thrash.
We'll start off in Sherwood Pines, outside the cycle shop, and then head out into the forest, taking in parts of the blue route, the red route, some unmarked 'off-piste' stuff and then venture out of the Pines into the surrounding countryside.
It's pretty likely we'll get lost as some point, because I have no sense of direction, but we'll find a cafe somewhere for a cold drink and an ice cream.

Non-members can join us for "3 try before you join" rides. If you are a lapsed member or have had your 3 rides then you need to join/rejoin before you book your place on this ride. For up to date info on your membership status please click the message button and get in touch.
Note: This is an 'off road' ride, so a helmet is mandatory, as well as a mountain bike in good working order.
This ride is not suitable for children under 14 due to the distance. Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the ride.
