The small town of Twin Peaks, Washington is shaken to its core when the body of the Homecoming Queen, Laura Palmer, is discovered washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic. Arriving to help Sheriff Harry Truman and local law enforcement investigate the case, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper becomes convinced of a link between Palmer's murder and that of Theresa Banks, who died a year earlier. While Laura's parents mourn, Cooper begins his investigation β but the townβs eccentricities mean he may have to solve more than he bargained for.
