Meet the Town Vehicles at Nesmith Library

The first 30 minutes of the event (10:30- 11 AM) will be designated as "sensory friendly" with no flashing lights, sirens, horns, or loud music.
Patrons young and old are invited to get an up close look at the essential vehicles that power our town at the Meet the Town Vehicles event, happening Wednesday July 23 10:30 AM- 12 PM at the Nesmith Library.
Meet the Town Vehicles is a free, family event where kids and adults are able to touch, see, and maybe even get behind the wheel of some of their favorite town vehicles, like fire trucks, police vehicles, and highway dept vehicles. Plus, participants will have a chance to meet the people that help build, protect, and serve our community!
Registration is not required for this event, however we do have limited parking at the library. Please carpool if you can!
Please Note: We are a busy town so some of our community helpers may need to attend an emergency and may be unable to provide vehicles or staff the day of the event. Parking is limited at the library. We are grateful to have the town departments participating and ask that you be respectful of emergency lanes and only park in designated areas!
