First meeting of Refuge Recovery of Southern West Virginia

We will be going live for our first meeting of Refuge Recovery on August 7th at the Beckley Day Center . Doors open at 6:30 with the meeting starting at 7PM sharp. Come early for coffee or tea. Meeting runs approximately 1 1/2 hours. First hour is the formal meeting from the Refuge Recovery book. The remaining time is a more casual talk about the meditation, book reading, questions or whatever is on your mind dealing with your recovery. This will be a weekly meeting with the hopes to add a additional day at the Day Center.

We will also be doing a Sunday meeting at the Hope in the Mountains center in Sophia as soon as they approve the time and start date.

Looking forward to meeting those who want to explore a different way to help relieve the suffering caused by addiction. This program is not just for drug and alcohol addiction. It deals with all addictions and just the day to day suffering that life throws our way.

Being a Buddhist is not a requirement, just the willingness to follow the path and make a valid effort to do the work involved.
