Want to learn about nature through art and then paint outside the lines surrounded by it? Join us for an art in the park event.
Call 228-230-4100 Ex #2 for registration. Although registration is not required, it will close after the first 20 people. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Inspired by community connection and the natural and cultural resources of Gulf Islands, Art in the Park is a free, family-friendly program that encourages and empowers visitors to interpret the park and world at large through a creative lens with art making and education. A temporary exhibition following the program will display artwork shared by participants in the Davis Bayou Visitor Center.
This creative gathering invites visitors to embrace the wonder of the park and is designed to inspire imagination, stewardship, and community connection—all core to the park service’s mission.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own supplies if they desire, however there is no expectation to provide your own materials or share with others as ample supplies are provided free of cost.
