Douce Ambiance at the Great Hall

Following their highly acclaimed tours in 2023 and 2024, this versatile quartet comprising of Cathy irons (violin), Dan Robertson (piano), Dougal Canard (double bass, guitar) and Doug Brush (drums) are all set to delight Christchurch audiences again.

Inspired by the brilliance and versatility of the violin, the ensemble will perform music from ancient melodies to pulsating Gypsy tunes, through lively folk numbers across to the syncopated rhythms of Brazil, and popular swing numbers.
