Audience Target:
Adults and teens ages 10+ interested in gardening or sustainability. No prior gardening experience required.

Format:
A Lunchtime lecture. Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your questions!

Presenter: Allen West currently serves as the Consumer Horticulture Extension Agent for Cumberland County. He has received a Bachelors and Masters of Agriculture Education from NC State University, as well as a Masters of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary. He previously served as a high school horticulture teacher and FFA advisor for 14 years. Allen lives on his hobby farm in Sampson County with his wife Amy and two sons Ben and Brady. He enjoys hiking, reading, writing, watching baseball and playing in the dirt in his garden and greenhouse.
